The Teaching and Research Staff (PDI) is responsible for higher education teaching of knowledge and culture, as well as for specialist and vocational training. The PDI also contributes to generating scientific, technical and professional knowledge through its dedication to research and by transferring its results to the wider society.

Louis Lemkow, professor of the Department of Sociology at UAB, was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Josai International University for his academic contributions. [+]
