Anna y Sara decribe their experience of doing language welcome practicals - a cultural and language exchange activity that aims to make the life of mobility students at the UAB easier and to encourage familiarity with the Catalan language and culture
Do you want to meet student who can help you to learn or practice Catalan? Do you want to find out about Cataln culture from the inside? Do you want to share your language and culture?
If you are an exchange or mobility student, or you simply want to learn Catalan you can receive the support of a local student volunteer.
Please contact the Unitat de Dinamització of the Language Service by sending an e-mail to s.llengues.dinamitzacio@uab.cat and we will put you in touch with a student. From then on you both decide when and where to meet.
These students are part of the language partner programme that we offer, and depending on what you need they will arrange meetings with activities that allow you to practice the language while finding out about Catalan culture in a relaxed atmosphere outside regular classes.
